Veena Vaadanam Is A Malayalam Documentary And It Narrates About Art. It Pictured By Nokia N70(2mega pixel-16mm-26mints). Jalachhayam Is Pictured By Nokia N95(5mega pixel) And It Was Screened On 6th June 2010, Sunday, 9.ooam At Sree Theatre, Thrissur, Kerala, India.
Way To “Jalachhayam” Earlier, Sathish Kalathil, Dr. B Jayakrishnan, Baburaj Puthur and Sujith Aalungal, the natives of Thrissur had filmed a documentary named Veena Vaadanam about the origin- growth-and the evolution of Painting, in Nokia N70 mobile phone in 2006-2007. The CD of this documentary had been released on 20th july 2008 at Thrissur and on that day it had been screened in 16 mm, successfully. Until now, this documentary has been screened in various film festivals and is renowned as the first mobile phone film in India, which has received the certificate of Central Board of Film Certification on 25th sep. 2008. The success of Veena vaadanam instilled in this team the confidence to make a feature film. Jalachhayam had been switched on by P Ramdas, the director of the first neo-realistic film in India, News Paper Boy at Namboodiri Vidyalayam, Thrissur on 22nd nov. 2008. First Clap was by Film actor Kripa. The conclusion of the film’s shooting had been inaugurated by T V Chandramohan, MLA on 06th dec. 2009. The end of all efforts of this venture, the World’s first mobile phone cinema was announced by P Ramdas, at Press Club, Kottayam on 11th may 2010.
